Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The tool runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab, so your files are never sent to a server. You can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and it still works.
Do links and text survive?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and searchable. Bookmarks from the original files are not carried over.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Open the file, save or print it as a new PDF without a password, then merge.
